Breeze Blown Through

Deconstruction of popular sentiments about females. Basically Im doing a series, having each woman represented in really fancy prom/cocktail dresses. So the classic representation of feminine beauty. Also, each woman is shown on a progression of black and white circles, forming almost a target for the female reproductive organs, another accepted version of what femininity should be, motherhood. I also used greyscale and pointilism in the black and white circles as a form of literal deconstruction. The greyscale on the skin takes the life and the color out of the woman, but it is also the medium in which many models are depicted. No identifying color and life.

Finally, there is the color section, of course surrounding her actual personality in her face. The true value of a woman lies in her personality and her intellect.

She is also shown in a more playful and childish pose, giving her a happiness in her face, and presenting her legs as an image of sexuality in the grey section.

My hilarious sexist buddy would have a thing or two to say about this, but fuck him.
