Let's dance! To the beat of the drum!

Journal Entry: Thu Apr 10, 2008, 5:24 PM
Things that really make me smile:

#1) Sharing the majesty and wonder of Star Wars with Tricia, one of my best friends.

#2) Gel-10 Silicone Cut Kit
The Boston Zombie March is coming up on May 24th, and Im getting seriously prepared with this. If you're interested in the awesomeness of this product, check out BITY mold supply's website, or just look up Gel-10 Silicone on youtube for instructional videos.

#3) My summer job at an awesome little ice cream parlor.

#4) My job next semester at my favorite comic shop.

#5) The fact that my WEBCOMIC IS STARTING.
[link] please look at it.

#6) THE BEAUTIFUL WEATHER!
Maybe Massachusetts has finally decided that its time for Spring? That means it's time to whip out my skateboard.

All around, I am remarkably content with the way this year is ending up. It was a really rough start to all of it, but I think that is part of what drove me to make things better.

"Let's dance! To the beat of the drum!
Let's go out! Where we don't know anyone!
Cause it's you! I don't need anyone else!
I got you! I don't need anyone else but you!
and no one could ask for more"

I'm alright, I went on the elliptical yesterday and now it makes me feel like I have to go to the bathroom 24/7. Figured I'd shared that with you. Enjoy your vacation, have a good Christmas, and enjoy your New Years.

I'm doing well enough to survive. I hadn't heard from you in awhile (or perhaps I hadn't responded--I'm not sure which) and I stopped checking my dA for quite awhile. Haven't really had anything to add in some time. Hope school goes well. So you're doing tats now too?

Still haven't seen that (and now I must wait for video--sigh). Selma's not bad, but I never really cared much for Rosario. Funny enough, I think the most attractive she's ever been was as an AIDS-ridden junkie (in RENT). I don't really see the resemblance, but a) I've only seen two pics of you on here and b) that's not necessarily a bad thing, in my book. And huzzah for curves.

Hmmm... Famke Janssen with red hair YES. Im pretty partial to Selma Hayek and Rosario Dawson. Curves are a must. Also, if someone ever made a movie of my life, I would definitely want Rosario Dawson to play me... its kinda weird, when I told my buddies that, they said that we look a little alike... I've got a little more baggage, but thats still a damn good complement. Her character in Clerks II hit a little close to home.

Honestly I don't find her very attractive. Now if it had been Famke Janssen... Rawr...

*grin* Lame with a capital M? At least shes sexy. Though that didnt really save the whole Catwoman movie. If they had advertized that as a comedy, Im pretty sure it would have made millions.
At the end of that movie there was a scene where Halle Berry basically pushed Sharon Stone out a window, and after that happened, she turned to Benjamin Bratt and said "I may not be a hero, but Im certainly not a killer."
My friend and I both shouted (in the middle of the theatre) "YOU JUST PUSHED HER OUT THE FUCKING WINDOW!"
Yeah, what a hilarious movie.

Never saw Clone High, but I loved Liquid Television--especially Aeon Flux. God that movie sucked. I was so pissed. Of course, I knew its fate as soon as I heard they cast Charlize Theron as Flux. Lame with a capital M.

Er.... wait....

Ah, Aqua Teen. Good times. I've always had my ties to Comedy Central. I really miss good old MTV before it started sucking. Clone High was wonderful back then before they cancelled it after its first season.

I don't really miss it. The only thing I ever watched was Adult Swim, so I just mooch people's DVDs to get my fix. Mainly Sealab 2021 and Robot Chicken, but I could really go for some Aqua Teen if somebody had it. I miss that show.

The DVDs are quite expensive. I think I may have to pick those up when I finally head out to boston for school. Id say that Pod People is definitly the funniest episode Ive seen, next to Squirm (which had a bunch of worms attacking a town for no apparent reason). And squirm was only really funny because of the short at the beginning. Ah, I miss cable.
